Be careful when using it! :)

This is a cool product. Much better than a regular eye lash curler. I like the heated feature. Careful not to burn your lid!

Cheap and easy

I've never used an eyelash curler and this was so quick and easy.

Good product, bit of a learning curve.

My fav eyelash curler finally gave up the ghost on me - right before my brother
-in-law’s wedding. In a panic, I ran to Amazon to find a next-day-shipping curler that wasn’t going to break the bank.

Enter: this lash curler, which wasn’t as bulky as some of the other heated curler offerings (including my last one), and seemed promising enough from the reviews.

I bought it, used it, and couldn’t get nicely curved lashes. “It sucks!” I told my husband, sadly shoving the curler into my makeup bag graveyard, to die next to a lip stain I thought I would love but dried my lips out no matter what I did to prep them.

It crimped my lashes in weird ways. The hairs crisscrossed. Sometimes I would get one eye looking great, and the other looked like I didn’t know what a lash curler is. It got hot really fast but didn’t seem to know how to handle its own heat. I was frustrated with it.

Until I learned it.

Dear friend reading this: turn it on. Let it heat up. Gently press the top plastic bit to the top of your lash line, and scoop the lashes into the heated part. Do not squeeze tightly! Instead, let the heated part warm through the lashes as you softly hold them into the curler. Move along the length of your lashes (root to tip) and do the same - gentle GENTLE squeezes. Anything harder, and your lashes will crimp wildly. If you notice the hairs crisscrossing, fix them as you squeeze. Your hand won’t hurt from the ergonomics if you do this properly. Your lashes will curl beautifully.

If you want wide open lashes, squeeze a little more tightly at the lash line. But you don’t need to death-grip your lashes. They’ll curl, I promise.

I have learned to leave my curler heat on as I do this. If you work fast enough though, you can do it as your curler cools down. But I swear the gentle approach works better than squishing the life out of it.

Go forth, have those beautiful lashes you want. Once you get over the learning curve, your lashes will always have the curve you need.

(TL;DR: don’t squeeze so hard while curling - start at base and do gentle squeezes of the curler from root to tip, to avoid crimpy lashes and crisscrossing lash hairs)

Curls almost too well!

There is definitely a learning curve to this, as the first time I used it I curled my lashes in a 90 degree angle. 😅 Once you get the hang of it, it curls lashesway better and longer than a regular one! It worked best when I applied light pressure for 2ish seconds starting at the base of my lashes, then releasing and working my way up, pausing a few times to lightly curl.
